Interventional Radiology Clinic
The Interventional Radiology division has an active outpatient clinic and consulting service. Our facilities include state-of-the-art digital interventional suites equipped with ultrasound and fast helical CT scanners.
The procedures we offer include the following:
- Angioplasty and stenting for peripheral vascular disease
- Uterine artery embolization
- Cancer therapies including arterial chemoembolization and radiofrequency (RF) ablation for the treatment of liver cancer
- Transcatheter radioisotope and gene therapy for liver cancer
- Transjugular intrahepatic shunts for bleeding and acites
- Stent-grafts for aortic aneurysms
- Carotid angioplasty and stents
- Abscess management
- Hepatobiliary interventions
- Gastrointestinal and genitourinary interventions
- New treatments for varicose veins including endovenous laser
- Dialysis graft interventions
- Vascular access for dialysis, chemotherapy and antibiotics
- Venous interventions for pelvic congestion syndrome, superior vena cava syndrome and pulmonary vascular malformations
- IVC filters including retrievable filters
